Prior to Ventraq, Dickens served as Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Choice One Communications (now Windstream). Dickens also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of ACC TelEnterprises, Ltd., a Canadian telecom services provider..
Gene Carr Prior to serving as CFO at NetFortris, Carr spent seven years as the CEO of GCP Consultants, LLC, a firm that specializes in high growth strategies and building senior leadership teams who can deliver revenue growth, profitability and market share capture. In addition to GCP Consultants, Carr has served as CEO of a number of companies across various industry sectors with a focus on revenue growth and operating metrics. Since joining NetFortris in February 2017, Carr has led projects to develop efficiencies within the organization and manage successful financial integrations around the recent Fonality acquisition.
Thomas Swayze is the EVP Technology at NetFortris. Thomas has over 26 years of significant technology experience. He pioneered voice over frame and ATM technologies in the mid 1990’s and deployed one of the first Selsius (Cisco Call Manager) solutions. Prior to NetFortris, Thomas served as CTO at Telekenex.
Daniel Miller is the Senior Vice President of Operations at NetFortris. Daniel brings over 11 years of experience in project management, technical customer service, and operations management. Prior to NetFortris, he served as VP of Operations at Telekenex, where he was successful in leading the company’s vision of delivering superior client support.
Michael Miller Michael has over 20 years of experience in telecommunication, information technology, and security. Prior to working at NetFortris, Michael was part of the CTO office at EarthLink and was responsible for developing their technology strategy and launching their Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) offer. Michael was Chief Marketing Officer at Renesys Corp., an Internet Intelligence company, responsible for strategy and new product development. Michael has also held multiple executive level positions at Global Crossing. Most notably, he served eight years as the Head of Global Security, responsible for the protection of the global telecommunication network. Michael also led Global Crossing’s IT Operations team, developing the IT infrastructure strategy, consolidating operations, driving operational efficiency, and improving operating costs. Michael is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), he has Master's certificate in Project Management from George Washington University, and a Bachelors' degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College.
Raul Vera Raul brings over 26 years of experience in systems engineering, software design and engineering, and technical management to NetFortris. Raul is an innovator and in 2001 invented a SaaS-based method of telecommunications recovery for which he obtained a patent. Raul founded a business based on a cloud delivery of telecommunications disaster recovery services funded initially by the National Institutes of Standards and Technology. In previous positions Raul has effectively integrated numerous cutting edge technologies in all the systems he has designed and delivered most recently with a strong focus on open source software integration. Raul is a former nuclear submarine officer and graduated with a degree in Physics from the United States Naval Academy.
John Young John Young brings more than 15 years of Channel Sales and National Account management to his role leading NetFortris' Sales organization. Since joining Fonality in 2007, he has developed numerous national accounts and channel partners such as Ricoh, Computer Troubleshooters, World Telecom Group and Dell, leading to a 20% growth in Channel revenue year over year. Prior to joining Fonality, John was with Avaya as a Business Development Manager and Select Team Sales Manager responsible largely for SMB sales and annuity revenue streams. He also held a sales leadership position as a Regional Sales Manager with Dallas-based Agility Communications Group.
Kristen Cruz Kristen Cruz brings 15+ years of experience in multi-channel marketing, digital, advertising and UX strategy serving various industries including travel, automotive retailing and cloud technologies. Prior to joining Netfortris, she served as head of search and media at Dealertrack Technologies where she led a team of marketers manage digital media programs for 3K+ automotive retailers and Co-Op Programs for major OEMs such as Toyota/Scion and Ford Motor Company.
